Anna Friedman

With a background in Social Work, Anna worked as a Humane Educator and Director of Volunteers in local shelters for five years prior to becoming the Rescue Manager of One Tail at a Time. Her favorite part of being the Rescue Manager is watching the transformation in the dogs that come from challenging conditions and end up in loving adoptive homes. She also is passionate about community outreach and empowering individuals to maintain beloved pets in their home via free spay/neuter, veterinary care, and other resources. Anna loves to spend Christmas visiting with dogs at Chicago Animal Control, but when she does take a day off it is typically to head to Door County with her husband and their three dogs for some hiking and overconsumption of cheese.
