Yael J. Cidon is the owner of PetVets Animal Hospital in Oak Park, and earned her Degree in Veterinary Medicine from Purdue University Medical School of Veterinary Medicine in 1992.

 

Since before she could crawl, animals have been an integral part of her life. Her childhood was a virtual Noah’s Ark of imaginary animal friends and various strays, and she was convinced that someday she would be able to talk to the animals. While she may not have become Dr. Dolittle, 20 years of small animal hospital experience has made her well-versed in the language and behavior of cats and dogs.

 

Dr. Cidon is an integral part of our Academy program as she works individually with each student throughout their Academy career. Students shadow her for up to four days at her Oak Park clinic where they receive hands on learning experiences with real life clients and their dogs in a clinical setting.
