Jamie Migdal with Mark Winter of Pet Life Radio

You all know by now that the pet industry is booming. Over 45% of households own a cat, and over 56% own a dog. That’s a lot of pets.

That’s also a lot of money. In 2014 the pet industry was worth more than $58 billion, with a projected growth rate of $2-3 billion per year.

To help you make sense of it all, I will be hosting a new show on Pet Life Radio called “Pets Mean Business”. Every week I’ll sit down with guests from different industry segments to discuss trends, opportunities, products, and best practices. I’ll be talking to entrepreneurs, small business owners, and CEOs of major companies to get their take on what is happening and what it means for you as pet owners and animal lovers. I’ll also be talking to volunteers, rescue advocates, trainers, and veterinarians to examine current issues and trends in the companion animal world.

I can’t even tell you how much I’m looking forward to this next adventure. I hope that you will join me!

Stay tuned for more details on the guest list and air dates!
